Meet: Dr. Deanna Dobbins

Superintendent & Principal

I am excited to welcome you to this new school year! I am honored to serve as the Superintendent and Principal of White Rock. This is a wonderful opportunity, and I look forward to working with our dedicated staff, passionate students, and supportive families to make this year a fantastic one. Together, we will strive to create a positive, engaging, and inspiring learning environment where every student can thrive.

A little about me personally—I am married to an amazing husband, Joel Dobbins, and we have been happily married for 26 years. We are proud parents to two wonderful daughters, Shelby and Summer, and we are blessed with six grandkids—Maverick, Sadie, Ella, Ava, Baker, and Carly—plus a new baby on the way! Family is very important to me, and I cherish the time I spend with my loved ones.

Professionally, I bring over 20 years of experience in education, including roles as a superintendent, principal, instructional coach, teacher, and adjunct professor. I am passionate about fostering a growth mindset, resilience, and a positive school culture. My goal is to work alongside our staff and community to ensure every student receives the support and encouragement they need to succeed. I believe in the power of collaboration, innovation, and high expectations, and I am excited to see what we can accomplish together this year.
